Clean Water Looks Good On You

If you know anything about Jonathan Kane Salon, it’s that we take pride in being an Aveda salon and fully embrace Aveda’s mission to care for each other and the world we live in. So when every April comes around and it’s Earth Month, it’s like the holidays in here.

Each year we partner with a green cause and raise money to support clean water, and although we always have fun doing it, we take it very seriously. Last year, our Earth Month partner was Alliance for the Great Lakes and we’re so impressed with them that we’re working with them again this year.

Reduce/reuse/recycle is a lifestyle at Jonathan Kane.

How to Get Involved

We’re making it easy to support this amazing cause. Here are all the ways you can help during Earth Month:

  • DONATE
Succulents are the perfect mascot for clean water because they use next to none! During the month of April, you can take home a succulent for a donation of $6 or more in the salon.
  • BUY A RAFFLE TICKET
We’re raffling off free salon and spa services and the proceeds go to Alliance for the Great Lakes. You can stop by the salon to get a raffle ticket—winners will be announced in early May.
  • STOCK-UP ON YOUR FAVORITES
Purchase an Aveda Shampure Body Wash litre for $35 or a soy candle for $15 and we’ll donate 100% of the proceeds to Alliance for the Great Lakes.

Last year we set a goal of $3,000 and we raised $4,300, and this year we’re looking to do the same. If we really blow it out of the water—pun intended—and raise $5,000, that’s enough to dig a well for a community in need.

So come visit your friends at the best salon in Chicagoland during our favorite month of the year. Together, we can raise enough to dig that well!
